AI Consulting & Computational Systems
AI Consulting & Computational Systems
Evaluate. Develop. Simulate.
Independent technical consulting for startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, research teams, and investors developing, deploying, or assessing artificial intelligence systems.
Bamboos Consulting helps organizations examine technical feasibility, develop focused prototypes, and test how intelligent systems behave under operational constraints. Engagements are available remotely across Europe and English-speaking markets, with selected on-site work by arrangement.

Services
1. AI System Evaluation & Technical Assessment
Assess the evidence supporting an AI system’s intended use. Projects may cover agentic workflows, tool-using agents, decision systems, or other intelligent applications.
- Evaluation questions, measurable acceptance criteria, and test plans.
- Failure-mode analysis, robustness tests, and operational constraints.
- Independent review of architecture, technical claims, and experimental evidence.
- Reproducible findings, explicit limitations, and prioritized recommendations.
2. AI Development & Prototyping
Design and develop bounded proofs of concept, intelligent automation, and research-oriented software where technical feasibility or comparative performance needs to be established.
- Architecture design and technology selection.
- AI-agent and tool integration, including API-driven workflows.
- Prototype implementation, evaluation harnesses, and documentation.
- Assessment of alternatives, integration requirements, and limitations.
3. Simulation & Decision Intelligence
Use computational models and controlled experiments to explore how alternative decisions behave under uncertainty.
- Agent-based and other computational simulation approaches where appropriate.
- Scenario design, sensitivity analysis, and comparative policy testing.
- Assessment of assumptions, data sufficiency, and model validity.
- Technical reports connecting experimental results to decisions.
Who We Work With
AI-native startups and software companies; SMEs introducing intelligent automation; R&D groups developing computational systems; and investors seeking a bounded technical assessment of an AI-dependent proposition.
A Defined Assessment Process
- Scope: Agree on the system, claims, inputs, constraints, and questions that can reasonably be tested.
- Plan: Specify methods, test cases, metrics, deliverables, and access requirements.
- Evaluate or develop: Conduct the agreed technical work with documented assumptions.
- Report: Provide findings, limitations, and practical next steps.
Engagements are quoted according to scope. Initial assignments can be limited to a discrete technical assessment before any larger implementation commitment.
Evidence-Based Engineering
Our methodological approach emphasizes reproducibility and explicitly bounded claims. A successful demonstration is evidence that a particular execution worked; it is not, by itself, proof of performance across operational conditions. Research and prototype examples are identified as such and are not represented as completed client deployments.
Relevant external frameworks include the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and the European Commission’s overview of the AI regulatory framework . These provide technical and institutional context; they do not imply accredited certification or legal compliance services.
Discuss a Technical Project
If you are evaluating an AI prototype, considering an intelligent automation system, or exploring simulation as a decision-support tool, describe the technical question and the outcome you need to establish.
Existing research and commentary remain available on the Bamboos Consulting website and Substack .
